Amnesia Dark Descent Graphics problem?

I just bought amnesia the dark descent off of steam. Once I started playing the game I realized that my graphics were messed up. I tried to fix them but nothing was working.

Whenever I moved around the light/dark contrast was crazy. I would have dark blotches moving all over my screen and it is very annoying. Help?Amnesia Dark Descent Graphics problem?
i just downloaded the demo and the floor seems to grow as i walk .. or move. almost like playing doom. but yes i also have a similar problem. i looked it up and the only suggestion was to update your drivers.
