Is Dead Space 2 or amnisia, the dark descent better?

Me and my friend have been having a little argument, and I prefer Dead space 2, yet he says it isnt scary, what do you guys think?Is Dead Space 2 or amnisia, the dark descent better?

But those are two completely different games, with completely different budgets.

So i don't think it will be fair to compare them with each other.
