Every time I try to play Amnesia it lags like crazy! How can I improve my computer so the game runs smoothly like when people do play throughs on youtube :/How do people play Amnesia: The Dark Descent without lag?
Do you have a graphic card installed? What processor are you running and how much RAM do you have?
So it seems like you are lagging a graphic card which is causing the lag. I suggest you buy a decent graphic card, preferably with a separate memory. And also, try freeing up the RAM by reviewing the startup processes and removing the unnecessary ones. It is not a substitute for graphic card though so you must buy it.
